Having volunteered to host a national meeting the day came when it suddenly dawned on me what I had done. I needn't have worried though as I found my new friends at In-Conference. Over 2 years they helped, nudged, prompted and guided me. AICR, the Association for International Cancer Research, which is the leading international cancer charity dedicated to funding cancer research around the world, celebrated its 30th anniversary by hosting a hugely successful conference in St Andrews, Fife in April 2010. The conference would not have attracted nearly 200 delegates nor gained the support of over 20 scientific and non-scientific companies who gave financial assistance to the event, without the professional commitment from the staff at In Conference Ltd.
